Miller Time
In yet another case of rap imitating rap, Percy and Vyshonn Miller ( aka Master P and Silkk the Shocker, respectively) were charged Monday after the pair was found with unregistered weapons. Of course, as you may know, it's another Miller brother who has really taken a moniker and run with it:
"A third brother, Corey Miller, a rapper who used the name C-Murder, is awaiting sentencing for murder. "
You would have thought more people would have seen that one coming, right?

Triko, the newest progressive menswear contender, and Reebok have teamed up to design a limited run of sneakers. 100 pairs will be available via high-end boutiques and sneaker specialty shops for $200.
Tagged with the Triko philosophy “Tell The Children The Truth,” the shoe incorporates Triko’s unquestionable love of all things natural with the technical craftsmanship of Reebok. “I was Inspired by the Mexican Revolution” Triko founder Hector Estrada says. “I wanted to illustrate how the struggle affected the cultural visuals of society. It produced a significant amount of posters, paintings and icons adding to an existing rich artistic history.”
Available in brown suede, the shoe consists of stacked leather midsole, gum outsole, natural jute laces and a laser engraved upper referencing the Mexican Revolution and Aztec symbols.

Created in the spirit of artistic freedom PUMA® unveils the Beisser, the second shoe in a collaborative collection that PUMA launched with themselves in July 2004. Referred to as In Collaboration With Ourselves (I.C.W.O.) – the unique series is a testament to PUMA’s strong design focus and the company’s commitment to the unexpected. The collection features three entirely distinct shoes that showcase PUMA’s modern vision through innovative design choices.
When creating the series of shoes, the Boston-based design team took inspiration from different aspects of motion – speed, traction, and velocity – and interpreted these concepts into silhouettes at the outermost end of the design spectrum. The Beisser is the second edition of this unconventional footwear and is a forward-lunging design that utilizes air mesh to create a fully breathable shoe.
As its German name suggests, the Beisser literally “bites” the ground with a powerful outsole. The jagged underside references the motion inspiration behind the series and features teeth-shaped rubber lugs on the back plate for braking. The more traditional upper fuses influences from rock climbing with street fashion to create a distinctive lace-to-toe design.
Only 500 pairs of the Beisser will hit exclusive retailers this April 2005 and will retail for €130. Each pair will come in a specially made acrylic display case

adidas orignals LA opening party
Adidas originals store celebrated its opening in LA with a big 'ole party and decided to invite a few friends. In attendance were Blu Cantrell, Wilmer Vaalderama, Owen Wilson, B2K, just to name a few. The 35th anniversary was the biggest attraction with many of the superstars on display, along with a video presentation far above any other sneaker presentation we've seen. Thanks to Adidas and the beautiful people at the Adidas store for putting on such a wonderful event.

The Story will be a presentation of events chronicling the journeys of both companies - Evil Monito and Creative Recreation - respectively. This interactive piece will trace the beginnings, the hardships, the growth, and the reality of what it takes for an independent company to survive. Presently, Evil Monito and Creative Recreation have collaborated on a special edition of the Luciano model, a shoe that signifies a mutual and respectable union. We invite one and all to experience The Story.
