Jump Higher, Scratch Faster

In what may be the first sneaker ever dedicated to a profession which involves standing in a stationary position, the RBK DJ Casual shoe helps both aspiring and professional crowd movers with their blends and cuts by sporting an embroidered set of headphones on the heel. According to the Reebok Web Site, "The new DJ casual shoe...features a reflective camo design which catches and reflects the lights while you're shaking it on the dance floor." Maybe if we're lucky they'll make a shoe for dancers, which catches and reflects lights while the user is playing records. Ha.

Warmup Drilly

Yup yup, Valentine's day is almost here...and you didn't really think that your homey DJ Neil Armstrong of the Almighty Fifth Platoon would leave you stranded without somthing to bump out the speakers when it hits, did you? If you haven't heard any of Neil's amazing mixes, now is as good a time as any to jump on board, as the New York native and HI State transplant embarks on the first installment of his "All Out King" series. In this edition, titled "Warmfuzzy," everything from Al Green to Coldplay gets finessed for Cupid, and it's almost good enough to make me forget that girls won't let me put my tongue in their mouths.

A sample of Warmfuzzy can be heard by clicking here, and the full mix can be purchased at, turntablelab, and stores in NY and Cali this week.

If you are in the NYC-area this thursday, come stop by the official Warmfuzzy release party at White Rabbit.
