Above is the brand new collection of the basketball lifestyle brand k1x- Nation of Hoop. The basketball national team of Sierra Leone displays the k1x claim "You Can’t Teach Heart" to the fullest. Playing in the poorest country in the world, without any payment , but with one-hundret percent effort on the court, shows pure „Love 4 da Game“. Electrical power outage, fucked up courts, and 20-hour-roadtrips, with 12 people inside a minivan, are a weekly precedure. Gyms without AC, a organized league, and bonuses are defentely an utopia. Regarding this attitude, k1x is the official supplier of the national team from Sierra Leone.

The whole collection is influenced by Siera Leone, such as, flag colours, different emblems, the capitol Freetown, and "Conflict Diamonds“. The collection is extremely wide and includes, beside functional parts (Basketball on-court), unusual for k1x, many off-court stuff: Jeans, Parka, Hoodys, Caps, Belts, Knit-Sweater, Hiking Boots, Longsleeves, Suits, Beanies etc....

In the film Elizabethtown, the main character loses his job at a big sneaker company in Oregon when he designs one of the biggest flops in their history-a shoe called the Spasmotica.



Here's a look at the shoes that he gets fired for creating.
A Cameron Crowe film, Elizabethtown is in theaters October 14th. The movie stars Orlando Bloom, Kirsten
Dunst, Jessica Biel, Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin and others.
