Shuya Okino is the creative director of Kyoto Jazz Massive, the internationally acclaimed production and DJ team that began in the early 90’s. A year later, Shuya launched Quality Records as an outlet for his own productions, as well as artists like Jazzanova, Da Lata, and Sleep-Walker. In addition, Shuya is busy as a music writer and club owner. Several years ago, he founded the now defunct Quality Magazine, which was published in 25 cities in 10 countries. SOUND IN COLOR NEW SINGLES IN STORE NOW!

Yo check out the newest singles from the Sound in Color Camp. With vocals from Ghostface (thats right from the Wu) and Five different beat treatments by Benny Cassette, Exile, Strange Fruit Project, MHE, Ricci Rucker, this first single is sure to be a summer favorite!

This next single is one of the best beats I have heard in a while. Beat conductor Exile has been paying dues since his first release, back in 1995 as part of hip hop duo, Emanon. Taken from his forthcoming producer album, Slum Village lay down the vocals as Exile’s musical heat serves as canvas. The international Hip Hop community has welcomed Exile (and Aloe Blacc - Emanon) with open arms as they have toured in countries such as Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, England, and Japan. This single is sure to bring in more adoring fans with such a great balance of beats and lyrics.
