Cerealart: Feed Your Head

ANNOUNCES EXHIBITION OF ARTIST DESIGNED OBJECTS, PRODUCTS AND EDITIONS “CEREALART: FEED YOUR HEAD” JUNE 28 - AUGUST 12, 2005 New York (June 13, 2005)-Perry Rubenstein Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition entitled “Cerealart: FEED YOUR HEAD.” This installation, designed by Harry Allen, will include approximately twenty-five objects developed and produced by Cerealart. Harry Allen's innovative design concept ranges in scale, from major retail interiors, such as the Moss store in SoHo, New York, to private interiors and furniture pieces, to commercial packaging for brands such as Aveda and Dom Perignon. His work is in the permanent design collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, and the Denver Art Museum, Colorado.

Cody Hudson's Art Installation at The Reed Space


Gravis, the provider of premium lifestyle shoes, bags and accessories and the Reed Space, a NYC-based retail boutique/art gallery, are teaming up to showcase Cody Hudson's show titled "A Summer Wasting b/w spaceship earth, I think I love you." The show, starting on June 28th, will premiere never before seen photographs, screen-printed editions, laminated archival prints and an instillation on Reed Space's gallery wall.

LOS ANGELES - Basquiat is a major retrospective of the brief but highly influential career of American artist Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960–88), a key figure of the 1980s whose work continues to resonate today. Recognized for its originality and emotional depth, Basquiat’s work focused on his personal and ethnic identity and incorporated a unique iconography that included urban culture, sports heroes, and music legends of the African-American community. Featuring over 100 works, many of which will be shown for the first time in Los Angeles, this major exhibition opens to the public at MOCA Grand Avenue (250 South Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles) on July 17, 2005 and remains on view through October 10, 2005.

Capitol 1524 Presents "You Are Here"

“You Are Here” is the title of the exhibit from the world famous graffiti artist STASH from NYC. The show will be held at Capitol 1524 (1524 E. Olive Way) located in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle from June 11th till June 30th, 2005.

“You are Here” will feature 12 new original pieces from Stash all influenced by the subway systems of New York City. The Opening Night Party will be held on Saturday, June 11th from 8pm to 11pm and is invite only. Stash will be in attendance for the opening night. This is Stash’s first show ever in Seattle, WA so this will be a momentous event!
