DVD of the week
Just got my copy of the feature length of Appleseed this past weekend. Yeah I know, I couldn't wait for the official release of the North American version which is due May 10th. Anime and non-anime fans will enjoy this movie simply due to the amazing CGI work. In addition to that, the movie is tracked by an awesome soundtrack. Videogame of the moment
In honor of the recent PSP release, I'm gonna have to go with Ridge Racer. If you have a PSP and don't have this game yet, go buy it. Graphics are top-notch and gameplay is awesome with off-the-wall drifting.

DVD of the week
Check out Charles Laughton's 1955 classic story of good vs. evil, The Night Of The Hunter. This black and white film will leave chills down your spine. With bizarre but fun dialogue and incredible cinematography, you can't go wrong with Laughton's only directorial piece.
