Kensington Debuts NXT-enabled iPod Docking Station

Kensington Technology Group announced today that it has expanded its award winning line of iPod accessories with five new products, including its first NXT-based product, the SX 2000 Speakers for iPod. Featuring NXT’s award winning SurfaceSound technology and finished in the familiar high gloss white synonymous with Apple’s iPod, the Kensington SX 2000 is the perfect accessory for the world’s favorite portable digital music player, including the brand new iPod nano.
Conveniently carrying as many as 15,000 songs from your music collection is a guaranteed way to ensure that wherever you are, you can enjoy your favorite music on the go, but sometimes you’ll want to listen to the music when you stop – now you can, and with room-filling sound. The grille-less NXT flat panel loudspeaker, which forms the whole fascia of the docking station, provides a wide, immersive sound to bring your digital music collection to life. The Universal Dock provides a single, elegant way to connect any iPod with dock connector to your iPod accessory. iPod fits into the Universal Dock through the use of interchangeable inserts called Dock Adapters.
Launching in November and priced around $159.99, the SX 2000 Speakers for iPod will be available from Apple Stores across the US, and in Canada, Japan and the UK, as well as from the Apple website.
