WE X Adidas Crayfish Party Collection

Rarely in this day and age does a collaboration command the attention of sneakerheads and fashionistas alike. Together with WE Clothing, a streetwear brand from Sweden with the concept "life after skate," adidas has broken down the image of the oversaturated premium sneaker with beautiful pieces that shun the routine and predictability of other releases. Seeking the proper inspiration, adidas dug deep in their archives all the way back to an unreleased skate project from the 1970's. Greger Hagelin of WE and Ben Preuss of adidas originals made it happen, agreeing that WE's fun- loving and creative ways would be a superlative fit with the specific nature of the adidas project. Drawing on the theme of the WE Spring/Summer 2005 collection, a crayfish camouflage pattern has been incorporated into the distinctive five sneaker line. What we have our hands on here is a strikingly original product rooted in Three Stripes heritage that is old-fashioned yet fashion forward.
