T5 Soul Sessions, Volume 2
http://www.hollertronix.com/
For their installation of T5 Soul Sessions, Diplo and Lowbudget dug out an ancient mix of an old shoebox in the attic. Circa 1985, this tape (the very first unedited Hollertronix demo), speaks volumes on the underground 80’s deejay scene. The young duo went on to play a crucial role in the downtown scene, with their consistently tight drops of unheard new-wave album cuts and b-sides responsible for breaking numerous crucial tracks stateside.
This is truly an eclectic mix of various genres of music, from new-wave to funk to new age electronica. The Hollertronix duo can be labeled as pioneers in their unique brand of music. Their blend of smart samples and obscure old school tunes, makes this mixtape and interesting one for the ears. Although I’m used to hip hop music, I was actually absorbed into the entire mix.
Keep an open mind, this one is worth checking out!!!

This was actually a brand new mix, 2005 or so. Not the 1985 that the CCCD info claims. Hollertronix hadn't touched a turntable till the mid 90's.
I'm trying to discover the entire playlist of this amazing mix.
