For those of you who are familiar with Edan's work, you know that he is a music lover to the fullest. His previous works, Mic Manipulator and Primitive Plus have demonstrated his independent nature and innovative production techniques. This still holds true on Beaty and the Beat. With familiar hip-hop samples, 16-bit video game samples all arranged with a 70s funk drum kit, you can't go wrong. "Funky Voltron and Torture Chamber are perfect examples of the complex musical recipe Edan serves up. Edan is bascially a one-man-band. Behind the boards and behind the mic, Edan's passion is reflected in his work by producing the album himself. It seems that these days you just have to do it yourself to get it done right.
